SESSION INFORMATION
General Information
All programs deal with the growth and development of the individual by shining a light on their potential. It is about helping them understand that they can make a difference in their lives by developing the skills to do so.
At the centre of human expansion is our collective evolution, and while initially it is the individual that is of focus, the ultimate goal is their contribution to the greater good.
Programs address, in multiple ways and to various degrees, the body, mind, and spirit. The division of each of these elements into specific programs has been addressed. At the same time, all three overlap and eventually meld. It is often only as the individual progresses that what is required is more clearly understood. Programs are offered through private and electronic sessions. A client may choose one or the other, or a combination of both.
Private Sessions
Private sessions are structured over a series of one hour face-to-face meetings. A preliminary questionnaire will help in the preparation of your personal program outline. It is recommended that clients consider a minimum set of 4 sessions. Ideally meetings are 1 every 2 weeks, with a minimum of 1 meeting a month. As progress is made, your program format and schedule will be altered as is required. These decisions are mutually determined, and the frequency and total length of time working together varies from client to client and in the final analysis is up to the individual.
Electronic Sessions
Duration of each electronic session is approximately one hour, with preparation and response time calculated more flexibly as this medium requires. Work with clients is conducted primarily through e-mail, instant messaging, and, if necessary, over the phone. The online program offers the same information and is structured in a similar manner as private sessions, while accommodating personal preferences, distances, and busy schedules. It is a convenient and cost effective choice that is growing in popularity and most have come to prefer.
Session Form
All programs are modified to address the individual. Each topic is in lesson form and reinforced by exercises. These are followed by a question and comment discussion. Sessions tend to blend together and our approach will be determined by the individual’s responses. Naturally there will be greater comfort and understanding in some areas than in others. It is not unusual for clients to spend more time in certain areas than in others.
With electronic sessions, response time is flexible within reason. Significant time lapse may be an indication of avoidance rather than fatigue or busy schedules. In which case, gentle inquiry is made in an effort to reach resolution.
At the same time this process is always supportive, and although suggestions will be made and alternatives offered, there is never pressure to go in direction a client resists. If a client is not ready, a new topic will be recommended.
Each program package is concluded with a review session.
